Bruce Akerly
Mr. Akerly is the founding member of Akerly Law PLLC, Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1982 with honors. He has over 30 years of experience as a litigator in federal and state court, trial and appeal courts.
Mr. Akerly has briefed and argued over 30 cases in the federal and state appellate courts. A listing of articles he has presented or published, as well as reported appellate decision, appears under the News and Resources tab. When not practicing law, Bruce likes to golf, camp, work in the yard and go on off-road Jeep trips.
Robert Loughran
Robert Loughran graduated from Texas A&M University School of Law where he served as Note and Comment Editor on The Journal of Property Law. He is licensed to practice in the State of Texas and is admitted to the Northern District of Texas for federal proceedings in that district. Mr. Loughran has been with Akerly Law for two years - first, as a Law Clerk, now an Associate Attorney. His experience is litigation-focused, revolving around helping clients with bankruptcy and business litigation disputes. He is also ready to deal with matters involving business formation and transactions.
